Mike Jeffers – Entertainment Entrepreneur

Mike Jeffers is a Chicago-based entrepreneur, musician, and creative visionary with a career defined by innovation in the entertainment industry. After earning a full music scholarship to the University of North Texas, Mike returned to Chicago in 1994, quickly establishing himself as a respected jazz drummer, educator, and performer.

 

In 2000, Mike launched ChicagoJazz.com, a groundbreaking platform promoting Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene, and in 2002, he co-founded Chicago Jazz Magazine, setting new standards for connecting artists, venues, and audiences. By 2007, Mike expanded his ventures under Chicago Jazz Publishing & Entertainment INC, launching Chicago Jazz Entertainment to provide entertainment and event management services for corporate events, festivals, and non-profits, including notable productions like the Deer Park Jazz & Wine Festival and The Art Institute of Chicago’s Jazz Series.

 

Mike also co-founded TCA Entertainment in 2007, where he helped develop large-scale festivals, trade shows, and corporate events. In 2019, he contributed to the development of the Epiphany Center for the Arts as its director of entertainment and programming, and in 2023, he was named general manager of the Copernicus Center, where he now leads efforts to expand its business and community impact.

 

With decades of experience and a passion for creativity, Mike Jeffers continues to be a driving force in Chicago’s entertainment and event industries.
